About SANTI Group

The SANTI Study Group is an elite international network of orthopedic knee surgeons united by a shared commitment to producing frequent, high-quality scientific publications on ACL injuries and related topics. Established in 2017 with a philosophy of international collaboration, excellence in research, and genuine friendship , SANTI operates with no political agenda and conducts all activities in a congenial, respectful spirit.

Guided by four core values:

  • Science – Every project strives for excellence in research and meaningful innovation.

  • Friendship – Personal bonds are cherished and preserved, even through differing views.

  • Tolerance & Respect – Individual ambitions are welcomed, as long as the collective good remains central.

  • Transmission – Members are deeply committed to mentoring and training the next generation of knee specialists.

Through multi-center studies, clinical trials, and large database analyses, SANTI continues to advance evidence-based techniques in ACL reconstruction and anterolateral knee stability—delivering lower failure rates, better rotational control, and improved patient outcomes worldwide.

Recently reorganized to strengthen global ties and expand impact, the group now emphasizes translational research, live educational outreach (case discussions and didactic presentations), and advanced training through the SANTI-Sano Sports Medicine Fellowship with its unique international rotations.
